Uploaded files to Roam will be sent to Google Drive!

You could use the Copy Extension button below to individually install this extension. To install, just paste anywhere in your Roam graph and click "Yes, I Know What I'm Doing".

Manual Installation

If instead you prefer to manually install, first create a block with the text {{[[roam/js]]}} on any page in your Roam DB. Then, copy and paste this code block as a child of the block.

var existing = document.getElementById("roamjs-google-drive-main");
if (!existing) {
  var extension = document.createElement("script");
  extension.src = "https://roamjs.com/google-drive/main.js";
  extension.id = "roamjs-google-drive-main";
  extension.async = true;
  extension.type = "text/javascript";

First, navigate to the roam/js/google page to log into Roam with your Google account. Once you grant RoamJS access to upload files for you, your credentials will be stored either on this page, or in your browser if you have "Store Locally" checked on.

Anytime you upload a file to Roam, the Google Drive extension will intercept the upload and send it to your Google Drive account instead. It will insert a new button in it's place that will open the file on Google Drive on click.

You could configure the extension on the roam/js/google-drive page.

By default, files are uploaded to the RoamJS folder in your drive. You could change the name of this folder using the Folder field within the Upload tab. Make sure it is a brand new folder name, as this extension does not have access to preexisting folders.
